Your half day experience includes a beginners riding lesson before you set out for an hour and a half ride across the grassland and heaths, riding amongst the wild forest ponies, and on into the woods, home to fox, badger and the many herds of wild deer.

The New Forest was the hunting ground of Kings as far back as William the Conqueror and the best way to explore its plains and enclosures is still on horseback.

Back at the stables a Chicken and Steak BBQ with plenty of hot coffee awaits, and a chance to look back on a morning spent riding in the ancient woodlands of the New Forest.

Duration
Your experience will last approximately 3 hours.

Spectators
You are welcome to bring friends and family to watch you, however there will be a charge.

Fitness Requirements
The maximum weight is 89kg (14 stone). This activity is suitable for beginners as well as seasoned riders. It is not suitable for pregnant women. If you are disabled you will need to have a medical certificate. Clients sign a registration certificate.

Group Size
There will be a maximum of 11 other riders with you both on the day.

Previous Experience
You will be asked to fill in a registration and acceptance form on the day.

Minimum Age
The minimum age is 7 years.
