It's a fantastic chance to experience the excitement of powerless flight and to take in the wonderful scenery unfolding below you.

After a pre-flight briefing, you will be strapped into the glider with your instructor. 

The glider is attached to a winch by a cable, and in a few moments you will be airborne! 

Once the cable is released you will search out some thermals and then glide gently back down to earth.

Restrictions
This activity is not suitable if pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness or blackouts, high blood pressure, or heart conditions. The maximum weight is 102kg (16 stone) and maximum height 1.88m (6ft 2).

Experience
No previous flying experience is necessary.

Duration
The length of the flight will vary according to conditions but will be approximately 8 - 15 minutes.

Age Restrictions
You must be at least 16 years old (under 18 years need parental consent).

Locations
Colchester in Essex

Availability
Monday to Sunday (selected dates depending on the location), all year although April to September are the best months for flying.

Expiry
The experience day gift pack voucher must be redeemed and used within the nine month validity period.
