You and your partner will have a relaxing day out on these historic vessels, with the emphasis being on enjoying the scenery, the good food and the thrill of seeing these large vessels under sail.

It is not a high activity centre although you can become involved in hoisting sails and steering if you wish.

Duration
Time spent at the controls will depend on the skipper, weather, location, number of passengers and individual enthusiasm.The whole trip will last for approximately 3 to 4 hours.

"I bought this as a 10th Anniversary gift to my husband. We had a lovely time, we stayed for 2 nights at the hotel suggested by Topsail Charters and got up to a bright sunny morning on the Friday. "The trip was given to my husband for his 60th Birthday. We arrived in Ipswich to a slighlty sunny/cloudy day. On board the staff were very friendly and the food was very tasty. The Skipper and his mate had a great sense of humour. Even though it started to rain and then pour down we had a wonderful time. We would recommend it. We left the Barge looking like drowned rats but it was a brilliant experience and would love to do it again"
