Riding a Segway is like no other form of transport, its direction and speed is totally controlled by the movement of your body. Lean forward to accelerate, backwards to reverse and lean left or right to change direction. Using the distribution of your body weight, navigate the practice course before taking on the off-road rally stage. These magnificent electric powered machines only require a small amount of energy to generate hours of fun.
Typical Programme
Your experience will start with a full instruction and safety briefing, this will give you the opportunity to get to grips with the unique controls before setting off on the varied terrain track for your Segway rally experience.
Duration & Group Size
The activity will last for about an hour. You will be in a group with other people.
Fitness Requirements & Previous Experience
The minimum weight is 45kg (7 stone) and the maximum weight is 117kg (18½ stone). Pregnant women cannot be permitted to participate for safety reasons. Riders must have the ability to make motions such as climbing and descending stairs without assistance.
Minimum Age
Minimum age 10 years, under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
