For man made rapids the session begins with a safety talk and tuition to perfect your paddling technique. Then, under the guidance of your qualified instructor, you and the rest of the group will travel in an inflatable raft up to 5 times in this 2 hour session.

For natural rapids, white water rafting is dependent on water levels and therefore can only run if the water is high enough. We ensure that you have a thorough safety briefing and that you are professionally looked after by a qualified instructor. Then you enjoy travelling down river on a beautiful raft.

Stockton-on-Tees, Cleveland
Bala, Gwynedd
Pitlochry, Perthshire.

This is an activity of sheer excitement - and whoever you give this gift to - they will love it. Although you might want to warn them that they are bound to get very, very wet!

Duration
The total experience lasts approximately 2 hours at manmade venues and 2 to 3½ hours at the natural.

Group Size
There will be a maximum of eight people on a raft.

Spectators
Spectators are allowed to watch from the side for this activity.

Restrictions
Please advise if you have a medical condition that may affect this activity. This activity is not always suitable for contact lenses & glasses wearers. Participants need to be reasonably fit. 95kg (15 stone) is the maximum weight. The activity is not suitable for pregnant women and you need to be able to swim at least 50 metres or be confident of being in the water.

Age
The minimum age is 16 years old at the natural venues and 18 years old at the manmade.

Availability
Monday to Sunday (selected dates depending on the venue), March to November for manmade, October to March for the natural.

Expiry
The experience day gift pack voucher must be redeemed and used within the nine month validity period.

Different Idea and Great Gift

"Got this as a present for my 18 year old. He hasnt used it yet but cant wait for the summer. He is getting 5 of his mates to also come along. I wanted something different and this was it. Only two miles from where we live and a pub nearby to laugh about the event. EXCELLENT IDEA WHICH WILL BE EXCELLENT FUN. Thank you for saving the day. Might even do it myself!!!"
