If you got married last year you will be celebrating your first ever anniversary this year. The first anniversary of any newly married couple is fresh and exciting. It can seem as if barely any time has passed at all since you said your vows to one another and became man and wife. Tying the knot was probably magical (and stressful) but a year down the line you're running a little home like clockwork and enjoying life together.

Some couples like to freeze a portion of their wedding cake and enjoy another slice with a glass of champagne on their first anniversary.
