Fun gifts can come in all sorts of guises, shapes and sizes. For the most part, when you think of giving gifts, you think of gift wrapping certain items. Staple gift ideas often include books, clothes, jewellery, perfume or other cosmetic products, or even something specific to someone's hobby, football boots or some tools for a gardener of car enthusiast. However, in recent times, there have been completely different types of fun gifts that have gained a lot of popularity. These are called Experience Days and, as the name might suggest (!), these are trips out that offer a little something different from the normal fun gifts you can give and receive, to give you an Experience. When people think of Experience Days, they automatically think of death defying bungee jumps of vertiginous platforms, or being barrel rolled around the sky in a plane! Whilst these, among other things, are available, you might actually find yourself being surprised at just what type of trips and experiences are available, from the adrenaline-fuelled to the sedate. Below are just a few types of Experience Days, which aim to give you some idea of what kind of fun times can be had on these type of trips.

First of all then, we should probably address the former type of Experience Days flagged above, to wit, the adrenaline soaked ones! To begin with then we go to the traditional and massively popular driving experiences, in which you can take the wheel of a wide range of powerful, fast and cool vehicles. When speaking of fast cars, I defy the fact that the names Ferrari and Lamborghini would not have jumped into your head. The evocative colours and the sheer elegant power of the two brands, plus the stirring sight of those iconic designs, make these two makes among the most desirable cars in the entire world. So, if you know someone who loves cars and loves speed, you would not be going far wrong in seating them behind the wheel of one of these, any of which would make for fun gifts! Ferrari cars on offer include the famous 360 and the Murcielago for the Lamborghini and after a little bit of instruction so you can get the best out of the car, you are loosed on to the track for four thrilling laps. There are not many more pleasurable experiences for a car nut to get behind the wheel of some of the exciting cars in the world and throwing them around a circuit and these are brilliantly fun gifts.

As an addendum to this, you need not put yourself behind the wheel of just a car, however special they tend to be. For instance, there are a multitude of different fun gifts that can put you in the driving seat, including powerboat driving, 4x4 off-road driving and even a military driving day for a group of friends. Not much is off limits, as you can also take part in a Monster Truck driving day, crushing cars and throwing the beast of a machine around a special course. All these are, of course, brilliant fun!

However, if all this speed, noise and adrenaline makes you wince, then there are still fun gifts available for you too away from the track. If relaxation and entertainment, as well as pampering, is more like your ideas of fun gifts, then there is still plenty for you to choose from. For instance, you and a friend can be whisked away to a spa hotel in the countryside, where you can be pampered to within an inch of your life with massages, facials and other beauty treatments followed by a healthy and delicious lunch. If you're feeling particularly energetic, you can even take advantage of any fitness classes put on that and make use of the gym too. In addition to this, you can also get trips to see a West End show, with a meal thrown in, or even have a tour around your favourite football club's stadium - the range is truly huge!

These are all fun gifts and regardless of what kind of thing you are after, you should be able to find something to entertain you and give you fun times. All in all, if you want to have fun times and want to make an occasion that little bit more extra special, do some research into Experience Days, as they make for extremely fun gifts and give memories that will last a long time after it's done.
