Bushed? Relaxing Gifts for gardeners

As the seasons change everyone who is fond of gardening has several tasks to do. There's seedlings to grow, plants to care for, pests to thwart and then of course, come harvest time there might be some fruits or veggies to pick.

Gardening itself can be a rewarding and relaxing pastime for many people. Then again, there are those days when you're bent over in the blistering heat trying to get that stubborn old tree root out of the ground. Or there's the lawn that needs mowing and the soil that needs compost on it, or weeds need to be taken out. You might find that you have to be stronger and fitter for gardening than you'd first imagine, or at least that gardening will help to keep you strong and healthy!

So, with that in mind what your friends and family members who love to garden need more than anything else is a good way to put their feet up and relax after a hard day's work in the cabbage patch. When you're getting relaxing gifts for the gardeners in your life, consider coming up with ways to bring the garden indoors and make it useful, funny or luxurious.

Grandad's Green Fingers

Gardening can be taxing for an older person, like your Grandpa. It takes a lot of hard work to get the garden in top condition. It can involve so much physical manoeuvring; there's heavy lifting, hoeing and weeding! You need to make sure that you don't hurt your back or your joints regardless of your age.
