It does not have to be a birthday, special occasion, or even Christmas time, to purchase a gift for a loved one. Sometimes, it is simply enough that everyone needs cheering up every now and again. And, whilst the female of the species are generally content with a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine, gift ideas for him, especially on a whim, can be slightly more challenging. Not to say that blokes do not like chocolate, but as they may prefer to keep up their masculine façade, a box of Maltesers may not quite cut it! Instead, when it comes to buying gifts for him, why not try something a little more inventive and unique?

If your man has recently bought himself a shed, but does not know what to do with it, then when it comes to gift ideas for him on a whim, what could be better than a book of '101 things to do in a shed'? This encyclopaedia of ideas is the ideal way to give the man in your life a gift that will get him out of your hair for hours! Great for a 'hands on' man with an abundance of time, or anyone who ever wanted to know how to make their own paper, or build a go-cart! (Also, ideal to entice him to go out and buy a shed, thus buying you hours of your very own 'in charge of the telly time'!)
