Valentines Day! The perfect opportunity to tell that someone special in your life just how deep your love goes. Picking the perfect present could not be more important especially when you want your loved one to know how much your relationship means to you.

There are some very special Valentines Day gifts available. Personalised gifts are a fantastic way of saying "I Love You." If your lady loves her jewellery, give her an engraved gift box containing a Heart Necklace and matching Earrings or if she always carries a mirror around in her handbag give her an engraved heart shaped compact mirror so every time she opens it up to look at herself she may be seeing her own reflection but she will be thinking of you.

If your lady loves flowers, go that bit further and have a pack of rose seeds named after her, then she can see her rose bush grow and know it symbolises your love for each other, growing stronger each day. However, if your lady does not have green fingers, you may want to avoid that present, just in case her rose bush dies (that could be interpreted as a bad omen.)

Buy a gift you can share together, such as a romantic trip to Paris, a dinner for two, a sailing trip or maybe something more exciting, for example a balloon ride or a more adrenaline packed day out and maybe if a proposal has been on your mind for a while, choose a very special location to pop the question.

The Valentines gift that means a lot does not necessarily have to cost a lot, as a special box of chocolates or an engraved key ring can still carry the same special message, you don't have to spend heaps of money to show someone you love them. Just putting aside some quality time is sometimes all your loved one needs to know how much they mean to you. Make breakfast in bed that little bit extra special by stamping a love message into their toast and serve their tea or coffee in a Valentines mug with a romantic message on it, then provide them with some reading material with a personalised gift book flourished with love quotes and beautiful images which they can leaf through whilst they drink their tea, because it's the little things in life that often mean the most.

Why not gather together all those old photos over the years that have special meaning and make a collage out of them in a photo frame, if you are not too bashful to let the whole world know how you feel about your loved one then give that photo frame pride of place in your home where everyone can see what a special relationship you have.

Is your partner the kind of person who will always give you their last rolo? Avoid feeling guilty every time you finish that packet of chocolates yourself, give your loved one their own personalised gold rolo that they can keep forever, that way you won't feel so bad each time you eat the last one.

Does your Valentine love a bottle of something bubbly? Put a really unusual spin on bath time. After a hard day at work, have a bath ready for them, fill it with lovely bubbles, sprinkle it with rose petals and put that special bottle floating in the middle.... arhhh, but here is the unusual twist, don't give them a bottle of alcohol, give them a message in a bottle, something really romantic for them to read, add to that a Bath Box Gift set, then join them for a romantic soak.

It is the opportunity to show your partner just how special they are and what your relationship means to you, to show them they mean the world to you and what a star they are in your eyes, have a star named after them and mention in your card how cosmic your love is.

What you feel inside can't really be expressed properly in a gift, unless you write it down that is so for Valentines Day give your loved one a beautiful note book, but before you wrap it up, start it off by putting the feelings you have for that person down in the notebook for them to read, maybe you could use it to send love messages to each other all through the year, after all, it does not have to be just one day, love should be celebrated every day!
