No matter how many shopping days, weeks or even months we are away from Christmas, many of us are constantly on the lookout for Christmas gifts. If we see something that might well be suitable for Auntie Mavis we will buy it if the price is right, despite the fact that it is only the month of March and a long way from Christmas. None of us want to let the kids down. Their anticipation of a looming Christmas keeps them going right through the first school term starting in September right up to the big day, and all that they can think about is all the Christmas gifts they hope to receive and the chance of a sprinkling of snow, so that they can build a Christmas snowman.
