Everyone, even those of us who are women ourselves have a lady (or several) in our lives that we want to make happy. Make your mother, sister, best friend or girlfriend beam a great big grin this year by getting gifts for Her that offer more than a box of chocolates or a bunch of flowers. Gifts for her don't need to be expensive, but the best gifts will always have taken a little forethought and planning.

Any gifts for her that you buy at all, no matter what they are, will make an impression because they'll show her that you took the time and effort to choose them. However, by choosing gifts for her which make a statement about her personality, you'll really push the envelope (or gift box!)

One of the types of gift which we cannot recommend enough is an experience day. It should be something you both can share together, something indulgent, passionate or exciting; something intimate or sophisticated.

Sometimes women (like mums) deserve a special treat to say thank you and Mother's Day is one day when a mum might expect to receive a few token gifts.
