Little people rock! They're so full of energy and vibrancy that keeping up with tiny tots can be as exhausting as it is fun. Of course there's a long while of crying at night, eating (or refusing to eat!) during the day and causing trouble to go before they're old enough to technically run around the house!

You don't have to spend much money to offer your congratulations to a couple who have recently got a new addition to the family. There are lots of little baby gifts out there that won't break the bank but still convey the message that you care and are pleased for the parents of the child. When it comes to little keepsakes, there are loads for under £5 too that makes perfect baby gifts. For example, a snow globe which features a photo of the baby inside it looks lovely on mantelpiece or dresser and costs under a fiver. Or what about a little book called 'Baby Tips for Dads' which is a great, humours gift for new fathers?

Small 'it's a girl!' or 'it's a boy' metal photo frames are under £5 each too. They're great for working mums and dads to keep at work on a desk or to put somewhere prominent in the home and they show you care about the new arrival without costing the earth.

Children have great imaginations, so in that vein don't be scared to opt for imaginative baby gifts!
