Location Suggestions for your Celebrations :: 21st Birthday Gifts
There are many celebrations in life which really deserve a big shin dig. One such time is a person's 21st birthday. Purchasing

is a priority but if one of your friends or relatives is turning 21 this year it will also be necessary to throw them a brilliant birthday party. 21st birthdays are a huge milestone and they're considered to mark the person's true arrival at adulthood. Consider tying the theme of the party in to the style of the 21st birthday gifts you purchase.
Where you hold your party is possibly the most important thing to plan! Different locations give your celebrations a different mood and atmosphere. For example, imagine the difference that having a party on yacht would make? The mood and atmosphere of your party is not the only reason to carefully consider where to hold your celebrations. Obviously, the budget you have available will also determine where you can celebrate.
Cheap and Cheerful
One of the most easy and affordable ways to celebrate someone's 21st birthday is to throw a house party. By throwing a party at home, you can save money on hiring a venue and save money on food and drinks by buying your own from the supermarket or making a buffet at home. It can be lovely to watch your friend unwrap their

and take photographs of them.
Lots of people choose to celebrate this way because there are also fewer limitations on when you can start and end your party, that means you can still be dancing away at 5 am, or all your guests can fall asleep on the living room floor. With a venue, everyone will need to leave by a certain time and will have to either go home to sleep or find somewhere else to stay.
There are a few downsides to partying at home though. You'll need to inform your neighbours that there will be some noise late in to the evening and they might not like that too much. You'll also still need to spend money on food and drinks and make someone in charge of the party in case any accidents happen.
You would also have to persuade someone to play the party music and might want to hire an entertainer or create some party games. Try to set aside a room to store

and coats in.
Let the Guests Pay
By choosing to celebrate a 21st birthday in a bar or pub you'll be given the chance to let the guests pay for their own drinks and food. If you buy in a few bottles of wine and food platters you might still spend less than you could at home and still give your guests a little something for free.
Most bars won't mind you bringing along a birthday cake and giving the birthday person their 21st birthday gifts while you're there. Often you can hire out function rooms in pubs and bars but they either require a minimum spend on the bar or charge by the hour.
Function rooms can make for rather sterile parties if you don't have high numbers of guests too, so it can often be easier to reserve a few tables in the main space and enjoy being alongside strangers.
Celebrate in Style
If you want to celebrate a 21st birthday in style and spend a bit of cash there are so many options out there. You could take some guests out for a meal before throwing a party at home, rent a pod on the London Eye, have a party on a real Thames river boat or even rent a dining room at a hotel (the sort reserved for weddings!) If your daughter or son is turning 21 you could pay for an exciting venue as one of their 21st birthday gifts.
One way to have a stylish party without spending too much is to have a garden party in the summer. You can hire, rent or buy a marquee. Throw some salad together. Stock up on booze from the supermarket and ask guests to bring along some food they like such as meat or vegetarian items. Get a good DJ and let the neighbours know you'll be partying in to the night. Then, get the Barbeque going!
In the winter, a sophisticated birthday party held at a country pub can be wonderful. Many country pubs do deals for large parties and you can enjoy a hearty meal next to a log fire with your closest friends, drink wine and have wonderful conversations. It can be lovely. Just be sure to hire a coach so that no-one needs to drive and you can all enjoy a delicious meal and a few glasses of wine.
