                Making the most of life | Experience Days
            
                Life is for living, have no doubt about that. To wake up to a new day should be exciting. I am a great believer in the fact that if you start the day with a positive attitude, then everything that follows will fall nicely into place. Just try getting out of bed with a groan and an attitude that tells you to crawl back under the duvet and hide from the world. For the next few hours you will find it hard to shrug off the gloom I know that many of us have boring jobs and a long hard day's slog ahead of us, but who knows, maybe today is the day that you meet your Prince Charming, Miss Right or find a £20 note on the seat of the bus. When it comes to having another birthday, children embrace the big day with open arms, excited at getting another year older, anticipating the birthday gifts that are about to be eagerly unwrapped. So why on earth don't adults have the same way of looking at it? To me, an approaching birthday means that I can pat myself on the back because I have made it this far, when so many others have not. Some of us need a little shove when it comes to making the most of life. We need encouragement and persuasion to try out new things. We all feel comfortable in our routines, but every so often, it does us a great deal of good to burst free of our self-imposed chains and experiment with a new experience.
