Top 10 Xmas Presents, Yours For The Picking | Xmas presents from Getting Personal.co.uk

I am one of those people who used to dread the idea of Xmas. Just trying to ensure that I had ordered a turkey on time, hunted for that rare but delicious after dinner liqueur that has become a family tradition and found an Xmas tree big enough to be impressive but small enough to fit through the front door, was a real ordeal. In addition to all this, the Xmas cards always have to be signed and informative letters attached for those friends with whom I only maintain contact once a year. As a wife and mother with a demanding full time job, I have always been hard pressed to find enough spare time to enjoy a good few hours on my own, to cruise around the shops searching for the right Xmas presents for all of those lucky people who appear on my ever increasing Xmas presents list. I like to think that I am an organised person and would even go as far as to describe myself as skilled in the art of self discipline when it comes to being prepared for Xmas Day, but I simply cannot magic those few extra hours required to complete my Xmas presents purchases. Needless to say, I end up grabbing the odd half hour during my lunch break to dash through the crowded shops, laboriously buying one thing at a time. By the week before Xmas I have still not completed my purchases and this is when I reach a state of high anxiety, wishing the whole thing would go away. However, things have changed since I discovered a fool proof method of dealing with a lack of time in my busy life and I recommend it to anyone who has found that they have lost the joy they once had in shopping for Xmas presents. First, it is never too early to start finding Xmas presents, buying, wrapping and labelling them. Second, it is definitely worth your while to make a list of recipients to buy for and as you remember more people to add to the list, to get their names written up before you forget. Third, the best way to save yourself a whole heap of time in the process is to shop from home online and that way you can avoid having to waste precious time getting to the shops. The greatest benefit of shopping this way is having the Xmas presents delivered to your door and so you do not have to lug heavy bags through the crowds of shoppers and struggle home in the awful winter weather.

You will be overwhelmed with the choice of Xmas presents and if you are still finding it hard to make a choice, a great idea is to look at the top ten favourites. Everyone enjoys a brew or 2 throughout their day, but how many times does someone offer to make tea or coffee for you and gets it so wrong? If it is too strong or weak, too milky or sweet a hot beverage is no treat at all, but with a Mug Drink Selector, there is no room for error. This design ensures that all your preferences are met. A Classic Design Personalised Diary is a must for all those people who need help in getting their lives in order. Every month has a different picture, each one personalised with the recipient's name. With this great Xmas present, there is no excuse for forgetting that important date and a year planner is included, allowing an easy over view of the year's events. An Essential Calendar and World Wonders Calendar make a great accompaniment to the diary and are also personalised on each month's image. For a lovely Xmas present that makes a beautiful keepsake, the Christmas Present – Polished Glass Christmas Keepsake makes a great decoration and paper weight and the Christmas Pudding Pocket Photo Album is a lovely festive gift that can be carried around by the proud owner to show off 40 of his or her favourite snaps. With a cute Xmas pud cover in red faux suede this Xmas present comes with its own gift box to keep it safe. For all those computer users and that includes most of us these days, a really cool Xmas present is a Lamborghini Memory Stick in bright yellow. This will smarten up the dullest of desks and the little car's headlights are illuminated when it is plugged in. An Adopt a Polar Bear Gift Set will keep all those conservationists happy and for those with a sweet tooth, a Retro Sweet Hamper contains all those tasty sweeties from a bygone age. Don't forget a Cookie Cutter Card to accompany all those Xmas presents.
