As the saying goes 'boys will be boys' and boys of all ages seem to revel in playing with toys. Whether they are 5 or 65 most men will be thrilled to receive a toy as a gift on a special occasion. Whether it be a car, a remote controlled car, toy helicopter, action man or robot, men will flock to it and spend many an hour having fun.

The classic boys toy has always been and probably will always be the radio controlled car. Men seem to find this impossible to resist. They revert back to their childhood as soon as they see one, even when they are old enough to own and drive their own real car. We all know men like to show off their DIY skills and they also like to build and assemble things. Build your own robot kits, therefore, make ideal boys toys and of course it keeps them busy and out of your way for a while as they inevitably struggle with the instructions. Mp3 players are always a popular choice as are speaker systems and fun lighting. If your guy is into DIY, why not treat him to some cool new tools. If he likes to have fun nights in with his mates, you could always get him a set of drinking games or some new speakers for his ipod. You could also buy him fun board games and puzzle games or pub quiz games to keep him and his mates entertained and away from the TV on nights in.
