For a really cheap yet thoughtful gift, bake him a cake! He will be impressed at all the effort you have put into his gift and you will both get to share the gift! Subtly quiz him beforehand over his favourite cake and find the recipe from the internet. To add an extra special touch, buy some funky 'I love you' candles and put these on the cake. These cost next to nothing yet will make an already touching gift, extra special.

If your man does not get particularly excited about Valentines Day, try getting him a quirky and cool gift with a romantic edge over a sentimental pressie. For less than a tenner you can get some cute toast stamps that imprint the words 'I love you' into your breakfast. This fun gift is sweet yet light hearted and will remind him of you first thing every morning!
