Young Hearts Run Free

According to the 1976 classic track by Candi Staton, a soul singer from the US, "Young Hearts Run Free" - and while it's a sentiment that certainly rings true, it can arguably be taken in so many different ways. The song itself speaks of an unhappy relationship; filled with children, but where the man is "busy loving every woman that he can". In contrast, Ms Stanton calls for these young hearts to run free, with the warning to "never be hung up, hung up like my man and me".
