                The Queen has cancelled her proposed Diamond Wedding Anniversary Party
            
                The Queen might be short of a few Anniversary Gifts this year as she has cancelled her proposed dazzling Anniversary Party due to concerns about it being perceived as bast taste due to the current economic climate.

The Anniversary party was due to be held at the Ritz at the beginning of April and in return for their Anniversary Gifts, the guests would have been served champagne from crystal studded bottles.

The Duke of Edinburgh and The Queen would have been celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary - which would have been a Diamond Anniversary celebration.

The guests will instead have to give their Anniversary Gifts to The Queen at a smaller less expensive Anniversary party.

We sent The Queen one of our Anniversary calendars as for some reason we were not on the guest list.
