Can I receive the history behind any surname I choose or does it have to be my own?
No, it doesn't have to be your own. You are free to provide any surname you wish.

What if there isn't any history behind the name?
As mentioned, our team has researched more than 80,000 different surnames and pride themselves on the fact that they have always been able to provide a detailed history on every name that they have been given. It is therefore very unlikely that they will not be able to provide the history behind your chosen surname.

How long does it take to receive my surname history certificate?
This depends on how you choose to register. If you register online then you will receive your surname history certificate within 10 working days. If you fill out and return your registration form and send this by post then this period of time is slightly increased to 28 days from when the form is received.
