Design A Christmas Card Competition - Terms & Conditions

1. The Christmas Created By… You ‘Design A Christmas Card’ competition is open to all children of Primary School age (5y – 15y) who are currently residing in the UK

2. Employees of and agencies or anyone connected with this competition are not permitted to enter

3. Entries can be submitted through a school affiliation (chosen schools that have been approached by to send entries directly), or can be submitted by individuals separate from the chosen schools – i.e. ‘public’ entries

How to enter
1. School Affiliated Entries are made by sending Christmas Card designs to either via post or email (scanned image). Designs must be festive/Christmas themed, and must be submitted on A4 paper or card.

Each entry must include the entrant’s name, age, contact number and/or email address in order to make it possible to identify and contact the winning entrant. If this information is not included, the entry will not be valid.

3. Only one entry per person will be permitted

4. The competition will run until Monday 27th November

5. Entries received after the closing date will not be valid

Winner selection and contact
1. Four winners will be chosen from across all competition entries

2. Two winners will be chosen from the School Affiliated Entries, and two winners will be chosen from the Public/Individual Entries. Entries will only be counted for one category – entrants may not submit designs via both school affiliation and public entry.

3. Winners will be selected by 30th November 2017

4. All winners will be contacted by a member of the team either via phone or email within seven working days of being selected. All winners will need to acknowledge their prize and provide with correct contact and delivery details in order for their design to be made public and their prizes and prize money to be delivered. If any winner does not provide these details within three days of being initially contacted then reserves the right to retract the prize and choose an alternative winner.

1. Two School Affiliated Winners will each receive a £50 voucher to be spent at and £100 donation to their affiliated school

2. Two Public/Individual Winners will each receive a £50 voucher to be spent at and a £50 cash prize

3. All four winning designs will be turned into official Christmas Card Designs, which will feature on the website throughout the Christmas season (November – January)

4. All four winners will receive a multipack of cards featuring their own design

5. Once winners have confirmed all contact and delivery details, all prizes will be sent via post within the following seven days

6. No cash alternative will be offered for the prize

7. The prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferrable

1. accepts no liability for the loss or damage of any entries submitted via post

2. is not responsible for returning any physical copies of entries that are submitted via post

3. accepts no liability for loss, damaged or delayed prizes

1. reserves the right to immediately remove any non-genuine, unsuitable, obscene or otherwise posts or material. Entrants posting such materials will be automatically disqualified and may be blocked from’s social media accounts

2. reserves the right to cancel or amend these terms and conditions (including altering any prizes stated) for this competition at any time and without prior notice

3. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media channel, nor are they associated with this competition in any way

4. Any questions regarding this competition must be sent directly to via phone, email or post, and must not be directed to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media channel

5. By entering the competition, all entrants agree to their designs being showcased on the official site and across all official social media pages

6. By entering the competition, winners agree to their designs being sold as a product on the official site, and any publicity relating to this

7. Winners are not entitled to any revenue generated by sales of their Christmas Card designs

8. The result and selection of the four chosen winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into

9. Winners’ names and county will be made available on request once winners have been confirmed
