Top Tips For Wrapping A Present

Follow these simple gift-wrapping tips for a perfectly wrapped gift every time.

1. Get all of your tools ready before you start and create a wrapping station...

We suggest collecting the following: scissors; sticky tape; a ruler; wrapping paper; tissue paper; ribbons; gift tags; a pen. An ironing board doubles up as a great wrapping location, so get it out of the cupboard when you’re struggling to find space on the dining table.

2. Use double-sided tape...

It stays put and out of sight! Double-sided tape is also an easy way to neaten up corners without bits of tape showing. Try and have your tape on a tape dispenser too, it’ll save you loads of time as you won’t be desperately trying to find the end of the tape for ages.

3. Stock up on wrapping paper after Christmas when prices are marked down...

You can then use this all year round.

4. Make your own gift tags...

Recycle a bunch of old greetings cards with a hole punch and a little bit of string or a pretty ribbon. This is a brilliant way to make your presents feel more personal and keep the cost of wrapping down.

5. Don’t leave gift wrapping to the last minute...

This will not only make you more productive with your present buying schedule but it will mean that you won’t need to rush wrapping them, too. Allocate some time to wrap your gifts and we think you’ll find that you enjoy it a lot more.
